COVID-19 Update March 22nd, 2020

We want to ensure you that our office, is taking precautions to keep our office a safe environment for all our patients and staff. As concerns over the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continue to rise, our intent is to inform and not alarm. As such, we wanted to share information about how we're handling this situation and its influence on life and business operations at MaryLou Corcoran Physical Therapy.

We are requesting that you notify our office at (315) 637-4747 BEFORE you come in for an appointment if you are experiencing a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, or have any respiratory symptoms to cancel your appointments.  We ask that you get clearance from a medical doctor prior to returning for PT services.

We have made the decision to remain open during this time.  We will be open with
limited hours and separate shifts for employees to ensure proper sanitizing between patients and staff.  It is important to us to keep our patients safe and prevent further injury or harm by missing their physical therapy.

While in our office, we are asking all staff and patients to pay particular attention to proper hygiene and hand washing procedures. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

Be assured that as always, we are disinfecting our office between each patient, but we are also taking extra precautions to keep you safe.

Finally, we will continue to keep a close eye on local and national trends, and health advisories from the WHO and CDC pertaining to COVID-19 and update our staff and our clients on a regular basis. If you have any questions on our policies and how they may impact you, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for your understanding with this important matter.  We understand that many of our patients have recently had surgery or may be in pain.  We do not want a lapse in care.  We will do everything in our power to keep you safe and provide the best care possible.
